Statement: This is a crucial and exciting time for the Marysville School District. After extensive listening to our community, the District is moving forward with several vital new initiatives. Together, these thrusts will make education more equitable for all our students while preparing them for today's rapidly changing economic realities.
Our board, district leadership, staff and teachers are moving toward an alignment which will serve our students. The district is now well positioned to continue to improve our systems and services to our students, parents, staff and community.
I believe the diversity of Marysville School District provides our students and teachers with an environment where students can only the skills needed for today's world and to do so in a setting which reflects the world in which they will work and create their homes.
I am pleased advances in technology and curriculm resources and the financial stability of the District during my time on the Board.
I have found the work of the School Board to be both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to continuing to giving direction and stability to the Marysville School District.
